1. The United Nations rules for the treatment of women prisoners and non-custodial measures for women offenders, which were adopted by the General Assembly in December 2010 are being reviewed by a variety of organizations in order to push for their implementation.
2. The International Corrections and Prisons Association (ICPA) conference will be held in Singapore from 11-16 September 2012. The main thrust of the conference will be community corrections and various efforts to support reintegration or re-entry of offenders.
3. The annual conference of the International Scientific and Professional Advisory Council of the United Nations Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Programme (ISPAC) will be held from 2 to 4 December 2012 in Courmayeur, Italy. The subject will be on Cyber Crime.
